KATHMANDU, NOV 20 -The government on Tuesday decided to forward a full-fledged budget of Rs. 300.641 billion to the president and announced the date of Constituent Assembly election for mid-April.
Government Spokesperson and Minster for Information and Communication Raj Kishor Yadav informed that the cabinet meeting held at Singha Durbar today took the decision to this effect. The budget will be forwarded to the president today itself for approval.
Likewise, the government has also declared to conduct the CA election on mid-April. The day for the election will be decided only after consensus with the political parties, Minster Yadav said. Government has allocated a budget of Rs. 10 billion rupees for the CA election, he added.
The meeting also extended the tenure of Special Committee for supervision, integration and rehabilitation of Maoist combatants by one more month.
