Kathmandu,
Nov. 3: Doctors at the Norvic International Hospital involved in treatment of
CPN (UML) leader KP Sharma Oli said that the leader's health is improving
gradually.
The
ailing leader was hospitalized at the Thapathali-based Norvic Hospital on
Friday after complaining of chest pain and fever."Oli should be treated by
keeping at the intensive care unit for 48 hours more," senior doctor
Bharat Rawat who is involved in Oli's treatment informed journalists.
Rawat
also said that Oli has suffered from pneumonia due to problems in lungs.A large
number of politicians and others have thronged the hospital to inquired about
Oli's health condition. Meanwhile,
preparations are underway to take CPN (UML) leader KP Sharma Oli to India's New
Delhi-based Medanta Hospital for further treatment of pneumonia. Leader Oli
would be airlifted in an air ambulance after some time.
Oli
was referred to Medanta Hospital for further treatment of pneumonia and septicemia,
according to Dr Dilip Sharma who is involved in Oli's treatment. The ailing leader was hospitalized at the
Thapathali-based Norvic Hospital on Friday after complaining of chest pain and
fever.
Doctors
said that Oli was referred to Delhi for further treatment of pneumonia as he is
also a kidney patient though his present condition was slightly improving.
A team of doctors Dr Bijay Shreevastav, Dr Ramesh
Chokhyani, Dr Rajendra Agrawal, Dr Bharat Rawat and Sharma are involved in
Oli's treatment
