KATHMANDU, NOV 07 .Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala discussed the issue of budget, election and constitution in a meeting held with President Rambaran Yadav on Wednesday morning.
At the meeting held at the president's official residence at Sheetal Niwas, President Yadav urged to give a political outlet by forging consensus very quickly.
The president has been meeting various leaders separately and collectively since the dissolution of the Constituent Assembly, and seeking consensus among parties.
Emerging from the meet, Koirala said the President is worried of the situation of the country and stressed on consensus very soon for the budget .
Koirala quoted president as saying "Budget through ordinance is against the democratic norms, please finalize it by forging consensus very soon".
President Yadav said the country will get relief if the election and constitution are finalised soon, said Koirala.
Koirala, however, said he told the president that the parties are of the view that president should reject the ordinance and the prime minister should pave way for national consensus. The PM should pave way to create the environment of trust as there is crisis of confidence, among parties, he said.
He told the president that if environment of trust is created, everything including budget will be agreed and that he had told this to the finance minister in a meeting yesterday.
