No tickets.........

Kathmandu, Oct. 3: Passengers visiting the New Bus Park at Gongbu in the capital for booking tickets have been returning empty handed after ticket counters told them that all the tickets have been already booked.
The Nepal National Transport Entrepreneurs' Federation had opened booking tickets from September 26 targeting the Dashain festival.
Ravi Bhandari, who visited the New Bus Park for booking tickets for Dang, said he could not get ticket even if he arrived at the Bus Park at 4:00 am.
Bhandari said returning passengers saying all tickets have been booked within one week of opening of booking is promoting black marketing.
Even on the first day of ticket booking, the ticket counters had returned the passengers saying all the tickets were booked but tickets were provided to the passengers after a team of government officials reached the counters.
The Federation had opened for ticket booking from different counters including Koteshwor, Gaushala, Satdobato and Kalanki  in view of the pressure of passengers.
General Secretary of the Federation, Dolnath Khanal, said the ticket counters might have told that all the tickets have been booked as they have to make arrangement of more vehicles from October 6 after the increasing pressure of passengers.
He further said they will also send passengers going home for Dashain to their respective places through other alternatives. The Federation said it is going to add around 1,000 more vehicles of long-routes for Dashain. RSS
