PM Koirala administers oath of office and secrecy to Ministers


Kathmandu, Feb. 25: Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed deputy prime ministers and ministers amidst a special ceremony in the presence of the President at the latter's Office, Shitalniwas, on Tuesday.
Initially, PM Koirala administered the oath of office and secrecy to the Deputy Prime Ministers duo Bam Dev Gautam and Prakash Man Singh and to the ministers later.

The swearing-in ceremony was also attended by the Vice-President, Chairman of the Constituent Assembly, chiefs of the constitutional bodies and diplomatic missions, and leaders of different political parties.

Meanwhile, PM Koirala administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Tek Bahadur Gurung at a function in the Singha Darbar.
Present on the occasion were Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers, Chief Secretary and senior officials of the government.

The Cabinet meeting is taking place soon after the swearing-in ceremony. The ministers would assume the office there after. RSS
