Rara becoming popular destination

Jumla, Oct 28: Nepal's biggest lake, Rara, has become a popular destination for both internal and external tourists with access to road reaching there. 
It may take some more time to gain popularity at every levels. However, the number of people visiting Rara during two weeks after Dashain this year has reached around 2,600.
In this context, tourism entrepreneur Gopal Bam said, "There was no mobility of tourists during rainy season. But, this time around, daily 150 to 200 tourists have reportedly visited the Rara Lake after two days of great Dashain festival". 

With huge outbound of tourists to the area, it ahs become tough for the tourism entrepreneurs here in managing their services.
More of the tourists visiting the lake this season are domestic, he informed. Among them also, more are from Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Pokhara, Chitwan, Bhairahawa, Butwal, Surkhet and some eastern districts. RSS
